Why These Touring High School Students LOVED Penn (VIDEO)

Yesterday, I showed a great video of a high school student logging onto the Penn admissions site to see whether she got into Penn.

But if we take it a step back, what determines whether a high school prospect even wants to go to Penn?

Over the past few weeks a bunch of high school students were taking their "College Tour '09" and visited a bunch of campuses to determine which school/s they were feeling the love from.

Take a look at the video above which documents these students' impressions of Penn.  Mostly positive with one negative... which I disagree about..as will you.

Alumni to Prospect: Why Penn?

 

Last week I received the following email from a Penn prospect:

"Hello Matt

I am Asim Manizada. I plan to apply to UPenn this fall. I am an international student, and I was wondering if you could help me - how do you like UPenn so far? How are the educational opportunities? Are you satisfied, is there anything special that caught your eye?"

Alumni & Undergrad Advice to Prospects: Why We Chose Penn

One of my reasons above

After I posted my Now and Then Thursdays: Accepted at Penn article, I got the following email from high school senior Carissa Clark:

"Hi again - so I was just watching the video you posted and saw underneath that you were accepted into both Cornell and Penn. I have the same dilemma. I'm almost positive I will be attending Penn. What were some of the things that shaped your decision?"
