"So Fun, Right?": Alumni Comediannes' Pair Up in New Web Series

Penn Los Angeles stand-ups, Lesley Wolff (C'93) and Jessie Schneiderman (C'05) are in a new web series called "So Fun, Right" about a 30 something out of work writer (Lesley) who moves in with a young hip Hollywood hottie (Jessie).  Lesley and Jessie really are so great in these that watching them will actually make you cringe a bit (in a good way!)

Plus the videos are shot very well ...much like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Office".

Her 12 Year Relationship Nap (VIDEO)

While Fielding Edlow (C'95) is primarily a playwright, she recently collaborated on her first short The Long Nap (see above) with her director Adrian Fulle, in the writer's group, Safehouse, in Santa Monica.  The short is about "a woman who wakes up from a 12 year relationship nap."  Look out for Penn alum Jessie Schneiderman (C'05) performing in the film.

Tomorrow night (9/16) at 9pm, her short one-act, "Sex and Tinsel in Denver", will be included with four other writers tomorrow 12/16 at 9pm, in the off-Broadway Naked Angels Reading Series in NYC.

Hosted by T@9 NY's creative directors Stephanie Cannon and Joe Danisi.

Also, Fielding's full-length play, "Admissions" is being developed by Naked Angels in NYC as well. "Admissions" is about a family teetering on the brink when an inappropriate father and a self-obsessed mother accompany their disaffected daughter, sitting on the lid of Pandora's box, on a Vassar College campus tour.

Besides writing, Fielding also performs improv every Friday night at Ultimate Improv in Westwood at 9pm with her group, "The Board".  More at Ultimateimprov.com.

Jessie Schneiderman (C'05) scores big with Scrabble short

Jesse Schneiderman (C'05) has come out with a new clever scrabble themed short called "Passive Aggressive Scrabble" that I really enjoyed.

Maybe I enjoyed it because I grew up playing Scrabble with my dad.

Or maybe it's because I love playing Scrabulous on Facebook.

Or definitely because it's just very funny!

Stand-Up Jessie Schneiderman (C'05) wants to be your "bff"

I bet you never heard of "RVS"?

...Stand-up Jessie Schneiderman (C'05, Off the Beat) is about to tell you, but be sure to put on your headphones first. Not safe for work.

Jessie brings her comedy stylings to improv clubs and sketch comedy groups here in Hollywood. Plus, there's a great Penn connection here in that Jessie does many of the stand-up shows hosted by another funny Penn alum Lesley Wolff (C'93, Bloomers).

If you can't catch Jessie on stage, she also co-hosts a live internet show every Tuesday night at 8pm on thestream.tv (the show is called Live!from the future with Stuart Papp). Jessie is the "IM girl" and people can IM her live at thestreamdottv.

Besides her stand-up, I also checked out her funny short about "bffs": "Two women who find each other in a world where best friends are hard to come by and even harder to make a montage with."
